The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia has appointed the Honorable Michele J. Kim as Chief Bankruptcy Judge effective August 19, 2024. Judge Kim takes over the Chief Judge duties from the Honorable Edward J. Coleman, III, who had served as Chief Judge since 2017.
