Noticing to Canada

On September 26, 2025, Canada Post announced a shutdown due to national labor actions between Canada Post and the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. Please be advised that beginning October 2, 2025, the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) will not mail notices to recipient addresses that include the country name "Canada" - these notices will be bypassed. Bypassed recipients are listed within the bypass section of the Certificate of Notice. Additional updates will be provided as information is made available.

Counsel should be aware if any opposing party or entity on the creditor matrix in their cases is from Canada so that accurate representations of service of process are made, particularly regarding negative noticing made pursuant to General Order 2022-1.
