When an attorney has a Court appearance which is scheduled for the same time as a 341 meeting, counsel should give prompt written notice of the conflict to the case trustee, the Chapter 13 Trustee, and/or the United States Trustee as is appropriate. Notice to the Bankruptcy Judge to whom the case is assigned without notice to the appropriate trustee is insufficient. In the absence of specific contrary directions from the Court the attorney shall appear at the Court proceeding and arrange for substitute counsel at the 341 meeting.
