Obtaining Copies of Documents

The cost to print documents from the public computer terminals located in the Clerk's Office is $0.10 per page.

The cost for copies requested in person at the Clerk's Office at any of our three divisional offices, or by mail, is $0.50 per page. The request must include the case number and the document copies requested; if mailing the request, it must also include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage affixed for mailing the copies, as well as a money order or certified check (made payable to Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court) for the exact amount due. The Clerk's Office will also accept personal checks for pro se filers, with the exception of debtors with active bankruptcy cases. Certified copies are an additional $12.00 per certified document. Note: the Clerk's Office will only certify documents from a case filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Georgia.

If you do not have a case number and are requesting a records search, a fee of $34.00 will apply.
